Current plans are to arrive on Friday afternoon. We are staying in Sandy Shores campground and would come on Thursday but they are booked-up at the moment. Waiting to see if they get a cancellation so we can come Thursday. Last year we came on Friday and it just seemed too short.

State park across the street from Sandy Shores has a bunch of open sites for thursday, you would want to make sure the check out and in times would work out but it might be an option.


I've got a site at the state park for the weekend, not sure if I will come up thursday night or fri morning, it will depend on when I get out of work.

Looking forward to this trip. We will have my father-in-law's white '75 and my red (with patina ) '74 staying at the state park across from Sandy Shores Thursday (unless we can get a spot at Sandy Shores that night) then Sandy Shores Fri/Sat nights. Enjoyed being around everyone at Val Du last year but our site kinda sucked.

Can't wait to see all the EB's at the gathering on Saturday.

Pre-ran the park for you guys to make sure everything is in good repair for next weekend...
Sand is in tip top shape, you should have fun. Wish I could make it but its just not in the cards. Next year for sure planning on going.

Awesome day today. Very busy but I saw no wrecks. Lots of Veterans were given crazy rides by the Veterans appreciation group. And I got to meet and hang with Brewchief (great guy)!!!

The pictures have been pouring in on Facebook. I will try to round up some good ones and get them up here! overall, the weather the day of the event was fantastic, we had about 126 broncos at the show n shine plus a lot more that showed up on the dunes! I met some new people as well, including one of the guys from the design team for the new ford bronco. I told him if you want to make everyone happy just put a 4 cyl in it, push button 4x4, navigation, moon panels and independent 4 way suspension.....NOT lol! joking asides he was a cool dude and Jeff from the graveyard was with me and we gave him our honest feed back on what you guys wanted. Solid axels, removable top, and try to keep that retro look of the EB grill. He bought some shirts and a few other things and lets just pray he listened to me and jeff!
