Duff has a nice listing for what is needed.
It really ain't much.
If you keep the original 351W accessories you won't need the adapters to run your 302 accessories.
A 1" body lift will help a little but not absolutely necessary.
Most of the headers will fit both 302 and a 351W in an eb.

It's basically a bolt in if it's replacing a small block Ford 289/302.
But check Duff's out.

Found this in an old Duff catalog.

Basically a bolt in Bud.
Very little mods.
Very worthwhile.
Read that Duff stuff in the photos.
You'll need the oil pan unless the one you have on the Windsor is already a rear sump.
That may be all you need.
It's easy Bud.
Jump in.

Do not use a C6 flexplate. The offset is wrong. You can use the balancer and flexplate from your original 302 if it's older than 1981.

The bolt pattern on the damper has to match the pulleys. 3 or 4 bolt

28 oz-in 164 tooth flexplate is correct. If that will bolt to the existing torque convertor is debatable, and probably not going to happen. If you have the small bolt circle torque convertor, you either have to re-use your existing flexplate or get a large bolt circle torque convertor.

My biggest modification when installing my 351W was going from a 3" tall air filter to a 2"...

Not really, but as others have said it's pretty straight forward, gets a little tight under a stock hood and the exhaust may need some rework.
