I'm not trying to "accentuate the positive" here. It's just that it looks to me like the best way to stop guys like this is to STOP FEEDING THEM! Wine all you want but the purchaser has a lot of responsibility here.

We've had that conversation on here several times already.

And wouldn't you check the title before purchase?
When a seller on ebay says "has clear title", one expects it to have a clear title. Otherwise it is fraud. So it's easy for a new buyer to think that fraud about a LEGAL DOCUMENT wouldn't happen. But, this seller misleads people because Alabama doesn't title vehicles before 1976 (or75). So it doesn't have a title at all. By "clear" he is saying it has a title, when in actuality it doesn't have one because his state won't title it. It's a lie.

If you want to see a lot of Broncos, with very little rust come to CA. We're practically tripping over them. .

Use to kinda be like that around here(up til the '90's)Plenty rust free;D Now they shed/carport/barn'em and ask $20,000 for a $5,000 rig with stop sign floor boards..and Lord only knows what else...

I know it would be seen as justifing bad behavior with more but to protect the innocent (incompetent) we could come up with aliases and up bid then deny it because of some problem with it. After some time and failed sells he might just go away.

Sad that new peep's to ebay and EB's show up there thinking that evilbay is trustworthy and that all sellers on there are too! This is where ebay fails..They don't hold the sellers that have the crap on there responsible like they STATE in the rules..

We, as a bronco community, help other bronco enthusiasts. It's one of the characteristics and attitudes I love about (most of) the people here. Whether someone is a "sucker" or "innocent (incompetent)", most of us want to help them in their bronco hobbies. That is why there are threads like these; because we want to be a community that helps others. We don't want anyone else to get taken. Period.

I see "gurus" on here who have bought an engine that doesn't fit or work, or the wrong radiator; people who've had broken parts shipped to them; bought tires that were too big or the wrong EFI parts. We've all made stupid bronco mistakes (and I've made most of them 3 or 4 times). Forgetting our mistakes judging a newbie buying his/her first bronco is a little hypocritical.

Let's help them. Let's warn them. Let's get the word out about unscrupulous "builders."

Right I don't think anyone would call the people taken by SaddleUp suckers and I don't think anyone would put the blame on them either. I see this situation as no different.

Well said!

If we keep quiet these dirtbags will continue to screw people over.

What goes around, comes around..there will be a day when he crosses the wrong buyer, and it will all come to an end one way or another. Talk is always cheap, and actions always speak louder than words. You just try to be smarter than what (or in this case who) you're working on..very unfourtunate for the people caught in between that time..just my thoughts

Yea you could expose this guy and it will help. But it's better to educate the shopper on how to procede when he finds what he's shopping for. There are a lot of other dirt bags out there. Some of them may only make one sale in their life. Some are even members here. These problems wouldn't have happened to a cautious buyer.

I really don't see any attraction to this rig. I haven't seen many hard tops with roadster door inserts in them. There is a reason. Not that good looking. This is one of those vehicles I can find numerous flaws with through internet pictures. Then when I see the price, I chuckle and move onto view the next old relic.
