We had a fantastic time this weekend!! Gunny ran like a champ for the first time out(when I could keep it cool) and we didn't have any major breakage that I know of. I don't have a lot of pics but I'll post what I got. You guys post up everything you took becuase I'm looking for pics to send into Bronco Driver and Woods n Water Magazine to go with the event recaps and I might use something you took. Especially looking for good action shots!! So let's see'em.

Well guys my family made it back home around 12:30 safe and sound with no issues. We then all proceeded to make mud pies in the bathtub. It is very nice to be clean again!!

I want to thank everyone who attended Holopawlooza 2009. We had a great time and did some fun wheeling and met some great new Bronco people as well as reconnected with some old friends. I really do feel this event was an obvious success and look forward to next years edition. If ya'll missed the event you missed some great wheeling(especially the night run), some great food(Bax is the BBQ king and Jeff's gator tail was awesome), some great camp fire BS complete with a pickin & grinning session by Brandon(Banjer Picker) and a lot of meeting & greeting. I personally made a lot of new friends. My wife and oldest son had a lot of fun too around camp and out wheeling. This was their first wheeling and camping trip ever and both have said that they want to go again. That's a success in itself.

Again special thanks to Butch for the use of his camp and facilities and thanks to you guys for taking care of his place. Thanks to everyone for all the nice compliments to myself and Franko over the weekend concerning the event. We both put in a lot of time to make this thing go off and your nice comments are very appreciated. I hope that we can make next year event even bigger and better. I was unable to get an offical count on EBs there but I know it was somewhere in the 30s. Maybe someone else was able to get a better count.

MY COUNT IS 37 BRONCOS AND 4 OTHER 4X4s !! ;D

I feel like I am almost a landowner now. I brought home four 5gal buckets of sand and mud. If that is stealing, I would gladly go back up to return it.

Thank you to everyone involved. I too would call that a success.

My family had a great time, and we are all looking forward to another get together.

Hey Franko if I had known about another photo shoot I would of stayed long enough to get in it. I had been to that spot before and can tell you that is the least amount of water I have seen there. We had to go back to camp to check up on the ribs and brisket. We had it all started before we left but really had no one watching the fire. Good thing we did because the temp in the cooker was getting low and was in need of some help. I am sorry I missed out on some of that fun but I will trade it off for some good eats. I am also sorry about not being able to stay saturday night. I was looking forward to the camp fire talking / singing / drinking fun. Some of our group had to leave and it was just easier to go with them. next time it will be different. I also would like to thank everyone involved, it was a good time and life is short. We all need to party it up more often. I was very happy for Smokeater, he got that bronco done and made it a family memory. I really wanted to stay up and party but I am old and had to go home. My judgment just is not what it used to be. However I did enjoy a shower and a bed one day sooner than the rest of you. Thanks for pulling my daughter around the place. Honesty she had never been flat towed so I am glad it worked out as well as it did. Even if you did leave her friend in the woods all alone having to walk back in the pitch black night.

After she told me what happened ( she was only 100 yards from the campground ) I gave her an event shirt and she was OK with it !!! sorry again !!!

Oh man were still laughing at that one. she told me you gave her a shirt. That was nice of you. Not to surprised at that, you were nice to everyone. Did You hear Chris (Yank) talking about the brisket? He announced to everyone around that he would go gay if he had to, to get some of that brisket. One guy asked him, (Pitching or catching) he said "Doesn't matter, both" made me laugh and move away at the same time.
