I put 42 miles on my truck over the weekend. As soon as I get it back together, I will go fill up to see what my Holopaw mileage was.

Speaking of fuel mileage, I put 6.5 gallons in Gunny on Saturday morning on top of whatever was was already in the tank. It's a good thing I didn't go on the night run because it ran out of gas when I was getting it off the trailer Sunday afternoon. My really poor fuel mileage is one of the contributing factors for my change to 2 barrel.

What a sweet camper/ hauler this would make. I can see tasker in this no problem. And it's even yellow. 3K would be a deal. I wonder what it will go for?

Wow! Thats pretty good mileage! At OCBR I was using about 10 gallons a day! Tuesday thru Sunday! Also Stock motor!! 5.38 gears might have something to do with that!

Not a fair measure, but I used only 1/4 tank on the ride Sat. From my house, to Holopaw, trail ride, and back home.
Home to the gate was about 21 miles each way.

Went out to the garage to day to do some cleaning on the truck and found my first mechanical failure from the weekend. Oil puddle under the passenger side front axle The good news is the oil on the ground looked brand new Looks like I have a weekend project!

grant it that i only wheeled one day but i drove to the event wheel most of the day on the 12 reserve and ran the rest on the main 24 and even ran the event with a small gas leak and drove back home and still have gas left.. need to wheel more next year i guess... lol

Were not going to talk about the 408's fuel mileage. But I know for a fact its better than Marks. Drove it there, drove the event, drove it home, 23 gallon tank and I still have half a tank so lets say I used 13 gallons. drove about 120 miles, so thats less than 10 but i am ok with that. The 408 liked the cooler temps.

I just got back from the gas station, and it is bad news.

Total of 41 miles. 13.02 Gallons. OUCH. 3.15 mpg. That makes my normal 10.5 seem great.
