Does anyone Know of a cheaper switch in or do I have to buy one from a Bronco Dealer for around $ 35.00

If you want a stock looking switch you'll need to go to one of the Bronco houses or directly to Ford, if they still sell them. But if you're not concernined about looking stock, then any double-throw toggle switch should work. It just controls the feed to to the gas gauge. Any of the automotive toggles from Advance, Hi-Lo, NAPA, Pep Boys, etc., should work.

SPDT
L1 is one sending unit
L2 is the other sending unit
COM goes to the gauge

Also look at you local Radio shack, fry's eletronics or other eletrical store of your choice. Current flow is minimal so high contact ratings are not needed. Anything over 1A will be more then sufficient.

If need be you can also use a DPDT and just not use one of the poles.

How did you come up with $35? I sale them for $12 and the wiring dia. is on my tech page, that is free.
PS the switch is a DPDT so can be used to also switch the tanks and gauges at the same time.

It works great controlling a fuel pump relay to both tanks on an EFI conversion. But then everybody thats done one already knows that....

I can get them for $2.50 all day long at the local pull-a-part.
