Help Removing Stuck Body Mount

The bolt through the body mount accessed from the passenger side floor pan is broken off flush with the top of the rubber donut between the frame and floor pan. The bolt and body mount assembly is now one big rusted-together sandwich around the frame horn. I've tried everything I can think of to get it apart, but it doesn't want to budge.

If I had a torch I'd melt out the rubber and cut it free, but I don't have a torch handy. Any other suggestions?

Does everything include very hard whacking from the top with a very big hammer and punch? Even though they're rusted, that sometimes works. And sometimes not...

Then there's the reciprocating saw blade between the bushing and frame mount. Awkward, but doable. Is this the mount by the passenger's feet, or behind the seat? If behind the seat, I don't have any hints or tricks for that.

Since the body can be lifted at this point though, you can remove all the rest on that side if you haven't already, and lift the body up to gain more access. Might give you a couple more options at least.

Good luck. Hopefully someone will have run into this same issue and have a sure-fire method.

Actually, I'll second what Viper said. Was thinking of the drill method, but with the bolt stuck thought it would be awkward at best. But with a hole saw you go right around that problem.
With a good sharp hole saw I bet it would even go faster than a Sawzall unless you can get real good access to it from the side.
Either way it's going to be fun!

... KEEP TRYING.. When I did my BRONCO I hate to say I had to give up. I gave up & put my 1 or 2 inch on top of my stock bodys. I had some stock from another job I'd done So I say I have a 2 1/2 lift.
..........................................
.... I tried everything I could but nothing worked. I even set mine on fire. It smoked & burned for maybe 5 + minutes But then It seemed that My entire Bronco was about to burn inside my shop. So I gave up & put out said fire.
..... Good Luck. I used the sawzall .. AIR HAMMER ... 12 LB SLEDGE . fire REALLY FIRE....Then very strong 33 year old neighbor . He worked for FREE BEER. & LET ME LOOK AT HIS WIFE'S FAKE BOOBIES .... I let him try several times.
..... Keep trying ..

Keep at it. It is a game of wills

Whatever you do, wear safety glasses and gloves etc. i always seem to hurt myself when I am frustrated.
PaPitt, if you can touch them, they are real.

No air or electric power a hacksaw blade in a blade holder will work. I cut a couple of mounts off of mine before the arrival of the Sawzall. Home Depot or a hardware store will have them. The blade is held in the handle with one screw. You can bend the blade at and angle to clear the body. About $3 for the handle. A couple of beers will help.

Get the expensive blades

About $5 for each blade and totally worth it

I'm gonna have to do mine and the PO welded new sheet metal in the front floors and covered up the mount from the top

I had a similar problem when removing my tub. All the body mount studs except two where froze solid, no matter how much PB blast and cranking they werent going to move. So I used the grinder to remove the heads of the studs, removed the tub, then thats when i was faced with the same dilema you currently have. So again i filed the stud all the way down to the mount, little more PB Blast, a punch, a BFH and a hole lot of Thor swings and out it came. Good luck brother
