Bought a set of 60/40 seats out of a 2005 Ranger for $65.00. In the process of mounting now. Sorry for the bad pics it's a cell phone. Thinking about cutting off the headrest, what do you think?

Just thinking they are too high. I've cut the mounts off of the sliders and rewelding the mounting points. May be fine like it is, I'm just use to a lowback seat. But they are comfortable.

I'm using the stock sliders, but cut the mounts except for one on the rear on each side. This will give 1" clearance between the floor and slides. Plus it is perfect the front adjustment bar.

SWEET!!!!!!!
so are the seats centered in the truck? so they fit just like they should in the ranger?
I have always liked the look of the ranger seats with the 3rd seat and center console. GOOD SCORE!

I really like that set-up too. I wouldn't cut the headrest either, but just my 2 cents.

Here is some better pictures. I still haven't had time to finish the brackets today, so they aren't mounted in yet.

If you take off the headrests, let us know how you do it. I like the seats, but I have a 1/2 cab and they would take up the entire back window and block the gun racks too.
