Been working on the dash. I put a clear bra on the entire dash panel, then loaded it up.

Picked er up at Line-X of Houston- came out great!

The driver's valve cover and the firewall wanted to fight. I brought it to a guy because I didn't think my TIG welding was up to snuff- and it was totally boogered up by them.
So, This was my fix- I had to weld it myself (hey- BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, STUPID) mask off where the cookie sander was haphazardly flung around, sand blast it, then vapor honed to to try and soften the edges.
Anyways. Lesson learned- I can TIG aluminum better than I thought.
We're moving right along now

You are getting to the point now that you can't quit working on it!.... It gives you a rush each time a component is added! It's a great feeling too! It looks great!!

Paint and liner came out great!! I always stress about laying out components especially on a clean surface with no holes. For the proportioning valve, you could fab a bracket similar to this to avoid drilling extra holes.

I have that bracket- not tall enough to clear the fender on the left side. i fiddled with it on the right side, but let me give it another go before ordering -3 brake lines.

On a custom build with so many modifications and one off components, it is almost necessary to completely assemble everything along with the wiring and plumbing while the tub and the sheet metal is 'in the white'..(.before paint.).. to make sure it all works as planned. I agree, it takes a ton of time to do it this way and most builders will possibly put together the major components, but not every piece..

By the way, Your build is looking great!!

Made a stand so I can work on my dash without it sucking.

Stripping wiring and adding circuits to the Centech harness- did I mention don't buy one of these because they refuse to give you a wiring schematic? DON'T! Painless even gives you an IPO! (input/process/output) and lots of PDF schematics!

Nice use of an engine stand! I may have to steal that idea when I work on my doors.

I have never installed a new harness yet, but good to know when/if I go down that path.

Got the tailgate mounted- was fun getting it in without scratching paint :D
All this hardware is just gonna be hidden with the tire carrier on, but it sure looks pretty!

Bought the fan/shroud/radiator from Champion- and of course 2/3 of the items fit with each other lol......fuck lol

Had to trim about 7/8" off the shroud to get the fan to sit on the inside/against the radiator so it would clear the water pump.
