Glad you came on the street cruise this year Scoop! Adding a third day this year was absolutely awesome, but still went waaay to fast!?:? . . . . I'm putting in a first motion and vote for three days every year, and I'm sure I'm not alone!!!

Actually the third day was not much of an increase in work for the RU Staff - in fact stretching it out a bit seemed to make it more relaxed. I'm going to second your vote for 3 days next year!

. . . My GF and I laughed all the way home about all great folks and good fun!!!!

Glad you both had a good time (but Ben, it's hard to imagine you going anywhere and NOT having a good time!).

Another great roundup this year! Here are a few pics.

Terry, your home brew gets better every year!!

. . . The friends i hopefully get to keep after this weekend will be cherished....will post more later but had to say thanks first and foremost.

I read this to my wife and she said "That big guy said "cherished"??!! Thanks again for your (and B.O.N.E.S.) support this year.

. . . I put a total of 1756 miles of my bronco between the drive down on Monday and some site seeing on Tueday and Wednesday and then driving home. . . .

So you got the long distance award (nice hat!)? I couldn't see who got it - you all were sitting in the rear of the tent!

. . . The beach buggy '67 on the other hand, performed flawlessly all weekend with the exception of requiring one points-filing assist to achieve ignition.

Bill, be sure to bring more tiki lantern oil next year!!

I'm anxious to hear what the EB count was...;D
It sounds like everyone had a really great time.
Hopefully we can make it next year!

Christine, we're working on the numbers right now. We'll post them up soon. BTW, I think it was NGA who won the ticket to OCBR - so hopefully you'll see Ben and GF and Stretch there! Thanks again for the donation.

Duly noted already. We here are of the opinion that we missed receiving an award for Show n Shine only because one of the tiki torches went out not even half way through the judging period.

A couple of wags have suggested that not having Ms. Piggy showing enough 'skin' might have set us back too.

Many thanks to MEB crew, sponsors , and anyone linked to this event , I had a great time.
I didn't take the show pony , first time he missed this event n 4 yrs.. I took my trail rig.. I bent my tie-end like half a pretzel on upper Corum's .. You talk about great ppl , Gordon , Randy , BadBertha crew and so many others help me use the winch to pull it back in line . Then Drew hooked me up w/ metal , our guide welded it for me and back to the trails I went .. ;D

many thanks to all.

I hope to see you'll again next yr .

Made it home mid-Monday, had to stop in Western MA to visit the girlfriend on Sunday.

110.49 gal of diesel($434) over 1071 miles for an average of 9.69mpg(10.5 best, 9.45 worst). Love that fuellog droid app!

Big thanks to MEB, Judy, Gary, Drew, Lou, and all the others that make this happen. People have NO idea how much planning goes on behind the scene over the course of the year and a big THANK YOU is very much deserved.

Great job by our Trail Guides Alan(white Jeep), Rippey(red Jeep), Bunny(Buggy). All of them were fantastic. A good/bad trail guide can make or break a run. All three of these were 100% on their game with involvement, spotting, trail knowledge and so on. I'd get in any of their lines again.

I have wheeled with him before and was lucky to wheel with Gordon Bailie all three days this time. He's a great guy in general(as well as Jim Hardy) but hes a true asset on the trail. He's always there for you whether you need a spot or have a problem. I cant say enough good things about the OK boys!

Saturday Suzy Duff was out with us also. Shes a lot of fun, a great driver and has a hell of a truck. I posted some pic's of the amazing flex that rig's got in the pic thread, sweet!

Saturday was high point wheeling with some very good friends and having Suzy and Gordon along. Two big names in the Bronco world wheeling side by side with you, helping, spotting, its really just a damn cool experience.

In 11 years of wheeling the bronco I have never blown a bead, even when driving a tree through the side wall of 1 tire. This year I blew 2! Thanks to Gordon and Rippeys on-board air, we were back underway in short order. I guess I have to move up the 60/10.25 project as I have some sweet beadlocks waiting for the new axles.

Thanks again to Jim Basal of Basals Transmission in Glastonbury Ct for getting me up and running. If it wasnt for him I wouldnt have even made it to the event.

And last but not least thanks to Ken, Todd and their daughters, and my buddy Max in his Heep for a great weekend. 4wheeling is so much better when you are doing it with friends. Thanks again to MEB for allowing that to happen.

OHHHHH on a side note for the MEB people, John Hunt from Big Dogs and I were just having a random conversation one night and he had nothing but great things to say about the Bronco event and how it is run. Said it was his favorite event. Just thought you might like to know.

Another East Coast Bronco Roundup is in the history books, and from all I've read it was a big success. On behalf of MEB I say thanks to all the participants who came, wheeled, drove the street or just hung out with us. You're what makes the event worth doing!

Many, many thanks to all the generous sponsors and especially those who took time away from their business to come out and play with us. Without your support we could not offer all the fun stuff that everyone enjoys. Sponsors in attendance were Gordon Bailie - Bailiebilt, Mike Standley - Bronco Design, Suzy Duff - James Duff, Inc., Thomas Kincer and Robbie Rapier - Krawler's Edge, Nick Menudier - Nick's Trix, Drew Peroni and Nick Hopman - Old Broncos Rule, and Will Carpenter - Warn.

Last but not least I thank the Roundup committee for the many hours of work that each of you put into making the event so successful. Also during the event there are many who come to us and volunteer their help and we thank you more than you know. It takes a lot of people to pull this off and you're a very important part of making it happen.

I hope each of you come back next year and we promise to work hard to provide a good time for you and your family. I personally thank each and every person who touched the Roundup in any way to make it successful.

What Judy said - times a bazillion! ;D

This year did seem to go very smoothly - the weather cooperated big time, the trails were all in great shape (challenging!), and the all the activities went off without any hitches. It does take great PARTICIPANTS to make this all happen! Thanks.
