tore the axle apart. brake stuff came off easy, but before I pulled it apart I felt some excessive rotational play on the passenger side axle. well... turned out to be the splines going south. so it looks like I have a good excuse to upgarde to a locker and some 31 spline shafts.;D but that also means I need to find more funds.

I'm thinking about selling the duff's flares and go with a set of warflares. the black accents seem to bring the green of the paint out better.

managed to get a little time in on her to pull the rear springs out. Boy am I getting spoiled on this one, all it took was a little pb blaster and a 1/2" air wrench and I was able to pretty much pull the bolts out by hand. they almost still look like new!
the only drama was from the revenge of the ghost of the dead critter. found some bones in some dirt that was packed in the front passenger side spring hanger. after pulling the bolts out on the drivers side the spring came right out by hand. on the pass side it just would not budge, so when I gave up to go get a pry bar I reached down to pick up the bolt laying near the dirt and bones, and wham! the spring fell right out...right on my hand! at least I didn't have to go get the pry bar.%)
