Did you manage to get the top off without scratching the paint on the top of the bed rail?
If so, you're a very careful person. Or "vewy kewful" said like Elmer Fudd.

I always loosen the windshield wiper motor when I do a top. Makes it much easier to move around to the right angles to get them out of the stake pockets.
I like Andrew's idea though. Never tried that, but it sounds like an even better way.

Enjoy. Nothing like original, and still in good shape.

Paul

No scratches on the bed rail. I did loosen the wiper motor also.
Hopefully I will be getting the top into the body shop next week. I can’t believe the top has been off for a month already...

Awesome Baja! Have fun with it and good luck resisting the urge to do "too much work"

Great job transporting! Will be good to have it all fixed with the gutter chrome piece back on it, etc. Hey Nice Bronco in the background!

The inside paint job on that background truck looks really nice by the way...

Got my original dash pad back from Just Dashes. They did a great job.

It was also nice to see the top is being worked on.

Sweet. They did my blue ranger pad a while back. Great job as well. good stuff.

Looks great. Getting ready for summer. Although, where you guys live it is like always summer compared to the Snowmageddon state of Michigan.

Just Dashes? Never heard of them or even thought it was possible to have my dash repaired. This is awesome.

Just Dashes...thanks for the heads up and positive feedback. I wasn't sure where I'd find a green pad for my Ranger.

They are in Van Nuys Ca.

It cost more than a re-pop but you know it will fit when you get it back. And it’s original if you care about that kind of thing.

When you get ready to buy one. Contact Andrew Norton at Baja Bronco, he always has something going.

Good evening Andy/ Andrew and crowd... Andy, beautiful truck. I recently acquired a set of 5 steel Baja rims for my 71. I love the steelies. I've been pestering Andrew for weeks for free info. Thank you mr Norton for always helping regardless... Anyway, I have seen evidence and discussion of chrome Baja steel rims, and Wimbledon white rims originally.... Was black painted also a choice or finish offered by Stroppe... "As delivered"? On some trucks? I am just getting ready to paint mine...was heading towards white. Thanks! Cullen
