A little progress tonight... Got the upper and lower shock mounts burned in... After lots of measurements and squaring up... 6" compression and 10" droop. A lot of gusseting to do and a brace across the engine once it's in, but it may sit on its own weight soon!!!! Will be working on the rear hoops, finishing the dove Thailand mounting rear coilovers- hopefully over the weekend!!

I was going to angle them back more, but just liked the look at 10 degrees. They are also canted in about 10 degrees as well.

Dove Thailand= fat thumbs and stupid spell check!

What's a Win Rock? Is that the finish line at Windrock?? LOL!

Thanks Mark- I have been getting excited just thinkin about being able to roll it out of the garage. Its a very baby step for sure- but some sense of accomplishment is totally motivating! Thanks for the words of encouragement Bro!! I have to take a break from it soon, so I can finish tearing down the Dodge crawler for parts...

On a related note- I got absolutley nothing done last night thanks to Tom (englewoodcowboy) and Andy aka 'The Hoarder'. We sat around BS'ing Broncos for close to 3 hours until Andy's better half ran us off (for good reason). What an inspiring collection of Broncos and parts Andy has!

So... My initial plan was to make her a roller by the end of Memorial Day weekend and I got nothing done. I was able to get a lot of work done this weekend. Rear four links are mounted and about 90% burned in. Just need to fabricate some upper shock hoops...

The brackets have three upper link locations. The middle is what the 4 link calculator calls for, but I think the lower hole looks better. I will have to see how it rides... Adjustability is good.

Way beyond my skill set! Looks good.

You would be surprised at what you can do.

The hard part was figuring out how to work what the 4-link calculator was giving me and put it on the small Bronco frame... And there were some trade offs. The off the shelf brackets are awesome today... You just have to figure what will work with the frame. I also have gusseted each of these as well. Jonesing to get back out there to work on it...

If I had a big shop and unlimited funds and was doing it again... I would build a tube frame...

Don't even go there Todd!!! You're an EB guy!!!!;D;D;D

Yeah- several friends have looked at me and scratched their heads asking why I didn't just build a straight up tube buggy. They figured I owned one nice Bronco... Why not just build a buggy...

There is just something about a trail rig with a real frame and body- to me it still has its identity as its originally built vehicle. However, This one will be as close to a buggy as it is a Bronco...LOL!

this ^^^ the very reason i didn't spend half as much money just buying a comp buggy. I'm a bronco guy and always will be. nuff said

Looking great Todd!

Flexed the rear suspension this evening and it looks like I have to cut more... Have to figure out something new now... Wish I had a cage in it to mock off of. Also started on the passenger side to dovetail.

Now you know why SC74 squared his fenders off!!!;D;D You doing good bro!!! I'm just pickin!!!!

And he's got little tires!! LOL!

He isn't narrowed either... I will likely square it off as well. I have to go up about 2" from there before I hit the bump limit, so it's a long way to go. Hopefully I can get back on it and get the tires on it this week!
