This video is pretty darn cool:

Gets me excited!

Roger, what did you see on TV or are you just messing with us?

Tyler

What I saw was a very short clip. The screen is black, nothing has been said. The headlights come on and I can tell its a bronco. Then the screen changes to the dark picture of the 3 bronco models shown broadside. (We have seen that picture) Then changes to the word bronco and the release date. then goes off. Perhaps a 10 second add.

Ford now says they are offering 4 locations of "Bronco Off-Rodeos" for new owners to test and learn about their new Bronco's capabilities. Sounds great, but offering to let folks test one of Ford's first at their Off-Rodeo might get more folks to purchase one.

I'll let you guys buy the first ones, I can wait to find out the summation of your purchases I'm not understanding the need for turbo charging on an off road vehicle. Is Ford stating they can't or won't build a naturally aspirated V6 with enough h.p? Maybe I'm dumber than I thought and I just don't get it. Will all of this over the top forced injection be working well in ten years without much trouble. Inquiring minds.

Wow, loved that ad! I even saw a glimpse of a '69 Mach 1 in there.

I never never known a turbo to last, ever.

I never never known a turbo to last, ever.

Original turbo on our 02' 7.3l Excursion had 305k when we sold it, 03' f250 6.0l had 333k when we sold it with original turbo. The 90' and 91' 250 Dogle Cummins we us on the farm both still have the original turbos and both over 500k miles on them. They will last if taken care of.

Change the oil often.

A logger that I use for other work changes the oil in his pickups every 3K. He regularly gets close to 450K out of the diesel engines before the truck totally falls apart. Engine still has plenty of power and doesn't smoke.
