I was thinking more like a GIANT pair of support pantyhose.

We have this feller on here that makes giant support pantyhose look like just another Safeway onion sack. Tasker..Randy..where are ya brother?

I talked to my friend with the orange bronco. He said its a 73 and it came with his property when he bought it 28 years ago. Looks like another dead end. I'm sorry! It really looks a lot like your old one. I will see if I can get a picture of it. When did you get rid of yours?

Thanks for checking itsabronco. Mine was traded-in back in 1993.

I've been told the truck was last registered in Texas in 2001.

I can't believe...she's been found

Oh my gawd!!! I can't believe I'm actually writing this, but I am, my bronco has been found. I have tears in my eyes trying to write this. She's awesome and looks nothing like the rust-bucket I had imagined finding. So many times, and so many dreams...

Here's the email I received this morning:
Valerie,

I received your letter and the photos. It was neat seeing the Bronco in those old pictures. What’s funny is we also have that same four wheeler your daughter is so proud of in the picture you sent. Long story short, I bought the Bronco in 1996 or so and have had it ever since. It was a daily driver for quite a while when I was going college. I have been all over Texas on hunting/camping/fishing trips (mainly West Texas) in that truck and have even driven it to Florida for a beach vacation. There are a lot of good times involving that Bronco. My friends called it the ”Rolling Pumpkin”. It is running and driving right now. I have plans to put a little money in it, give it some TLC, and make it super nice. It currently lives in my garage in Plano, Texas and we take the kids out in it every month or so, they really enjoy it. They tell me when they get older that they’re going to drive it. I say No Way Jose every time! Attached is a picture as it is now, really not that different from when you had it. I am not planning on selling it because Broncos in this shape are really hard to find, but if you wanted to make an offer I would consider it. If I sold it, I would immediately go out and get another just like it! Hope to hear from you soon, have a good one…

Thanks,

Here's the picture he sent:

Amazing! Great stories. But...now that you've found her, won't it be worse thatn having not found her at all if you can't have her back? ;)

He sounds like a really nice guy, but here's the plan. Midnight run with the flatbed trailer and we leave a mason jar full of cash in the carport....... Who's in?????
