Same color as body was standard, customer/dealer had the option to order a white top.

IMO it makes it that much cooler....

Report says Special Paint. Does that mean the no paint and the Dealer painted it whatever color they felt like it?

1 of 44 with Special Paint/Trim Codes

Is this a diamond in the rough or your run of the mill truck?

Came with a 302 2-V, someone changed it out with a 351W 2V.

1976 Bronco Marti Report

1976 Bronco Marti Report

Fairly run of the mill Bronco. It was ordered with a factory 600W Immersion Block Heater. Nice option for Northern Montana where it was sold.

Thought it was interesting that there is a discrepancy in the DSO Code.

My DSO is Memphis and was purchased new just up the rd. But Marti said ordered in Philipsburg Pa. I called Marti n said best he could tell dealer in Pa ordered it but got sent to Memphis dso. Idk sounds like a odd thing to me.

There's lots of mistakes and questions that they can't answer it seems like.

I run into this all the time studying the records of other makes. Planned to be shipped to Dealer A, but it gets diverted to Dealer B. There were records of all that but they are not in the same place as the original build sheets and probably don't even exist any more. Mistakes are common too. Sometimes they seem so common that you wonder how a company can stay in business. Wait, am I talking about an auto manufacturer or the government? ( : < 0)

Lol yes I agree. Some of the mistakes are very obvious too, and could easily be corrected but they won't, they just transfer the Ford documented info over to their report, correct or incorrect.

Dad's 68 U13 says it went to Canada, but I'm fairly sure it was sold new in North Georgia or Southeast Tennessee.

Not the first time I heard of Canadian bound Broncos ending up going to the same area.

Another 77 but with blank color code. Is this considered a special decor? I love that it still has the dealer stickers on the gate that match the Marti.

Not a Special Decor, but it was most likely ordered with the monotone paint scheme which would be why it's considered a special paint order.

I mentioned this in the other thread ared77, but DSO can also mean "dealer special order" under certain conditions.
Doesn't mean that's the case with yours, but it might open up more possibilities when it comes to your other questions.

A '72 U14 Sport that has survived. It is pretty much unchanged from the day it was built except for the ravages of time and use.

Cool 75 72' u14 Sports. There's a guy here in Oklahoma just southeast of me that just picked up a 70' u14 Sport, hopefully he'll get a Marti.

I think someone has posted a report on a '70. I think 69 U14 Sports is the number I remember for the '70. I think the only year of the U14 Sport now that no one has shared a Marti on is the '71.
