Can anyone verify if this is a stock bronco power steering gear box? Or if not what it came from? See photos…

At a glance, it certainly looks like a stock power steering box.
Definitely noticed the body lift because of the extreme angle on the steering input shaft and U joint.
Are you just curious about it, or are you having trouble with your steering?

No problems, just making sure it’s stock as I’m moving to hydroboost and making sure I don’t need different adapters for the plumbing than what it comes with… haven’t ordered anything yet, but making a list. 😀

Do 3” body lifts and that angle cause problems? Never thought about that. Bronco came with body lift and I haven’t wanted to mess with it. Actually installed the roll pans from Duff to hide the large gap…

Stock Bronco box from 1974, so it will be the 6 turn version unless it's been upgraded.

That expandable shaft from Wildhorses has a second u-joint at the top. The two u-joints together take care of the issue. The only other thing you could do is slot the holes in the mounting bracket for the column that bolts to the firewall so it'll drop down further. That's a cheap fix for guys who don't want to spend $200 on a new custom lower steering shaft though (which you already have).
