Yes, I would. The factory had a very good reason for putting it there. So unless you have a hole drilled just in that area to the inside of the frame, to allow drainage that way, I would chop off the corner.
Yep. I did look at them, well what’s left. But I could tell the corners were open. I think I’m just gonna open the corner that points straight down tho.
The other corner points right at the wheel. I think that will just help it fill with junk faster
I agree and always felt that way too.
Never bothered to close up the extra hole, and I don’t live in a moist environment anyway so I wasn’t too worried.
But I always thought that the single drain would reduce the instance of water and mud intrusion. And still allow you to fire a hose up there under pressure during the summer to wash out any debris or insects that did get up there.
