Nice looking for sure, that is a $15,000 Bronco here. It is so not fair we see rust like we do here is Southern Indiana. That truck would be gone by now if not garage kept and never in the snow. Gone by rusted away or sold, which ever!

I hear ya, my '66 spent most of it's days in Posey Co. It's rusted away in most places. Even the frame is bad from the rear wheels back.

Congratulations Atom, nice Bronco there, enjoy!

You are SO right. My Bronco is hiding in the garage this Winter. It spent 35+ years in Wyoming and NO rust, then two Winters in Louisville, and I am getting ready to paint it again. There are bubbles on the tailgate, rear seams and rockers.. AARRGGh..

Nice Bronco, it would be $15k around here. I hope you enjoy it.

Heck, if it's fully functional you are probably getting a good deal. I don't dare go look at all the receipts for tools, parts, work done, etc. I have spent to get mine where it is for fear it will be well over the $13K you are paying. Not to mention the man-hours spent working on it. I would never pay $13K for a Bronco, regardless of condition, but I also won't criticize someone who does. It's your money! Good luck with it and congrats on the purchase.

Looks good. I'm sure once you buff the paint and take the top off, that will buy you enough time before you have to start on "the list". FYI, the list never gets shorter. If you don't have a hobby, you do now. If you ever sell it, you will regret it. Are you sure you are ready for this responsibility? Ha ha! Welcome to our world.

You said it drives nice, BUT, did you have a mechanic check it out before you hand
$13K away. Also, check for rust, lift the carpet, check all the corners everywhere

Nice looking ride, I have to say it doesn't take much to have it add up. I have just about 4500 into mine and have yet to start the tear down... now if I added my tools I have been aquiring, my barn I have been setting up... I keep telling myself those costs are for multiple projects....;D;D;D

Good luck! I've dumped so much $ I'll never see it back, but owning and enjoying working on the bronco has been worth every penny. Most people who own their bronco pretty much know it's not an investment but an enjoyment. At least you can drive yours, I know I've got more than 13k in mine so far and I can't even take it around the block. I'm jealous.

Rob,

Yeah right! Still in shock that he actually found exactly what he was looking for! They are out there, but they aren't getting any cheaper. :(

I guess that is a good thing if you already have one! Glad I do! ;D

Atom, if it feels good do it. I just got my first EB in dec. I watched the ads for about 6 months, decided that I just don't have the energy to take on a frame off. I have been there ,done that and don't need to prove anything to myself.
I found a 74 that the orig owner had for 30 yrs,i got the orig sales contract and a crapload of reciepts. The second owner had it for 7 yrs and spent that time rebuilding the 302,balanced,cam carb, etc trans &transfer, front end seals and bushings,suspension,wheels,interior....everything ,on a body that has a 25 yr old paint job,1st repaint..After adding up all the reciepts,I couldn't build it for what I paid. And I drive it and spend the time doing the little things to it to make it mine,it 'll never be done.
So buy it ,enjoy it and don't let others opinions make you feel bad. Remember,Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. Enjoy!!
And yeah I paid more than you...no regrets!!!!!!!!
