prices from bronco venders pretty much all the same. If you are not getting GREAT customer service, tell them to f*ck off! and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. It's not like the phone company, bronco parts venders are everywhere these days.personaly, I spend my money at WH (about 6 k worth) and deal with mark.

I always try to buy from a vendor that is with in a reasonable driving distance from me. That way if there's a problem and there ignoring me or blowing me off I'm close enough to drive there and pull someone across the counter! There's no reason for this and there's no reason to defend a vendor for doing it. But of coarse this is just how I feel, and take it as that. I need another beer!!

Simply put, you are wrong. For you to believe that a vendor, just because of its size is allowed more mistakes is crazy. They should have the experience then, to reduce mistakes. Further more, my repsonses, btoh in email, phone calls several times, and a response to an invoice were never returned. My problem was not the fact that they made a shipping error, but that they failed to respond to my requests to try and fix it........
Well, We are only hearing your one side - I'm sure there is another.

Again, you guys miss my point. %) Am I going over your heads or what? Let me try to spell it...

Say there are 100 people talking about bad experience with vendors.

If vendor A sells 10 units per year and screws up once, that is 10% screwup rate. The one hundred people talking all say "hey they screwed up" - once.

If vendor B sells 100 units per year and screws up 10 times, that is a 10% screwup rate. The one hundred people talking all say "hey they screwed up 10 times! - They must suck!"

Actually, they both have the same screwup rate and gave equally (bad or good) service. What I am trying to say is that all the vendors screw up from time to time and I do not think that any one (as a percentage of total orders!) is worse than the others.

Notice I am not justifying the fact that a vendor screws up - It does actually happen. We are all human - right? I hope anyway. Now that said, I have three Broncos and bought and sold three or four others over the course of the last 13 years and have bought from just about every vendor and have had good experiences with them all. Lucky in at least one thing I guess.

I do not believe that you picked up the phone called them about parts (what parts exactly? for the 2nd time) and they did NOT give you an answer. Were they just silent on the other end? Did they just hang up on you? You are very vague on timeline, what parts, what the vendor said, etc...

It's not my intention to come across as brash on these forums. I think the keyboard is the all time worst communication device. I hope to meet everyone on the board at some time or another. I think you'll find me very friendly and surprisingly just a little on the quiet side.

Yes some vendors make mistakes and they have salepeople that may be new or just jerks. I only deal with Mark at WH. Everyone at BCB is great. No problem's at Tom's. JBG is ok but they are huge. I had one small issue with them and they took care of it. Duff's, I had a problem but when I spoke with the manager we were finally able to sort things out. All the vendors have problems/problem people but I cannot see why you cannot work it out. On the specialty end, RJM is almost impossible to get ahold of, makes an incredible product! But Ryan has his own issues and thus his customer service suffers for it. But he did deliver. Sounds like you need to talk with a manager/owner and clearly state the issue and hopefully it can be resolved. Good Luck, BI

wow!! just give it a rest
got your point the first time
just didn't agree with ya
I spend good money, I want good service
I don't tell vendors (hey I can only pay 3/4 because I have this and that going on in my life)
they want full payment, I want full service, NO EXCUSES!

I learned early on. DON'T USE THE WEB SITE TOO PLACE YOUR ORDER. Go to the site, write down the part #'s you need, call during biz hours and place order asking each time if the part is in stock. If it's not in stock order it from somewhere else. The guy on the phone honestly can't say when that part will get there, he's at the mercy manufacturer, he wants to make the sale and might exaggerate approximate time. Follow these steps and you should avoid surprises.
