The other day I used it as a tow rig to pull the back half of a parts truck off the trailer. Then I used it as an anchor point to hold the parts truck in place, while I dragged the trailer out from under the front end.

Rear brakes on the parts truck were locked up so it would not roll off.

ahh yeah the many uses :)

Stripped and repainted timing marker and screw. Small piece of a long overdue project. Progress nonetheless

Got aux tank fuel filler neck installed so my tank is ready to use. Repaired the antenna cable and got radio working. Finished wiring tachometer. Replaced alt guage with new volt meter and repainted all guage needles to match. Got guage lights to work but want to replace with LEDs to be brighter. Replaced stock leaf springs and blocks with 3.5 in lift springs. Now I need longer shocks and drivshaft.

Little touches put the ford script on the front grill and back tailgate and put the fuel/vacuum line clip on the valve cover

Started the red one and drove it around the back roads a bit.
Got the SIL's to finally start, still gathering parts to swap the front axle.

Installed some Toms foot jewelry. It’s insane that to get to the gas pedal the entire assembly needs to be pulled.

Doing a body lift. Yesterday I cut the old mounts and got them out. Used the 5/8” holesaw trick on the two in the footwell area. Was able to extract the bolts and then thread them back in to pound down with a hammer to free the mounts behind the seats. The front and rear mounts came out with a sawzall and almost rattled my fillings loose.

Also welded a bunch of old roll cage bolt holes up in preparation for installing a new Bailie Bilt cage!

After I get the body lift done I’ll be putting in a 2-into-1 exhaust using a bunch of bends and a big Walker muffler I bought on eBay. It’s dual 2.5” with a single 3” out the back. New to me set of Hedman headers, too.

Put a few more shakedown miles on today, but had a backseat driver with me…
