I hope you guys don't mind me posting pictures of my 1978 bronco in this thread. I had to take a break on my '67 bronco because I am having my front and rear seats reupholstered on the big bronco, went with leather instead of vinyl. When I pulled out the vinyl flooring I saw some rust in the front area. Passenger floor pan had a small hole so the whole thing had to go. The rest was just surface so it cleaned up easily, put down some rust bullet, and then epoxy primer. I have to say, the passenger floor pan was the worst fitting panel I have ever used. Thankfully I only needed some of it, no way the corner was going to fit without beating it to death! Also had to do a quick patch panel since the replacement pan doesn't go far enough toward the rear.....where every big bronco rusts out, lol.
Now I just have to grind off the welds and put some primer on it. Thinking of just grinding down the plug welds and leaving the seam welds in place, for some reason I like the look of it and nobody will ever see them after sound deadening and new carpet. Can't wait to get my seats back, if anyone is interested I will post up picks when they are done.
