Man... Time goes by way too fast. Finally go the gussets in there. Yes there are a few "minor" welders gaps:cry: but that is what a grinder and new spool of welding wire is for. Added to lower bars between the B and C pilars. Also added some flat plate to the floor where the rear seat brackets sit. I was not a fan of stacking washer to support the plates so that little mod was a no brainer. Cage is pulled out now so I can grind out the ugly welds, re-weld those spot and finish weld the underneath. Then I get to start working on the interior and getting it prepped for spray in liner before putting it all back together. Huge progress... it's just taken a long time.

And of course there is always a little tax to pay when grinding. Bit my hand twice today. Oh well, chicks dig scars.

Took the time this weekend to work on the dashboard. I think I filled 25 holes that had been drilled over the years.

I painted the back side of my windshield frame, hood, and tailgate. Since is will be 105 today, I moved the hood and tailgate to the driveway.

Hey thanks for posting, looks like a good turn out!!! I see the Haas man had both if his rigs there!!!:):):)
ive been to lots of mustang shows over the years, and lots of non brand specific shows, but this was my first bronco only event. I have to say the people were much more friendly and fun than any other show I have been to before. and the Haas's were great. we spent a lot of time chatting. I enjoyed meeting them. and both of their broncos were very cool. there was a huge range of rigs from new completely stock to slightly modified to classic untouched survivors to full on modified rigs. it was great to see so many different takes on how to build a bronco. to bad I did not get a chance to drive one of the new broncos. I would like to get out to one of the off rodeos sometime, but oh well.

Added pushbar, dashpad, rollbar, hood louvers. Have a set of door inserts ready to install after I remove my doors. Got to install my seat belts before I remove door though. They are on backorder till next month. Got an OEM windshield hold down to add also. pushbar2.jpg dashpad.jpg rollbar.jpg hood louvers.jpg

Aww, nuts! I've been putzing with a back 40 hardtop in the hope of converting it to a safari-style top. Putting the top on it's top brought forth a NatGeo treasure trove of squirrel snacks. 20220714_110517.jpg 20220714_110541.jpg
