Hmm looks familiar!

I've started putting on Bestop 2-piece doors

funny I just took mine off and the inserts.
installed an extra battery today, had it laying around so thought I would use it and already had a spot for it

on the 68, pulled the door latches out for replacement of one and cleaning up and adjusting the other, fixed short in temp sender wire and started to wet sand and buff the paint to see how it will turn out.

Started the front end rebuild. Removed shocks, springs, steering rod, stabilizer, drag link, and radius arms. When my axle tilted back i noticed some gear oil dripping on the floor. guess I'll get into the D30 after all. (Or just try again to find a D44 replacement) Good productive day.

I finally got my hydroboost, power steering, cooler, filter, and ram assist all plumbed. It's getting pretty cramped and I still have the brake hardlines to complete.

Installed the Duff's hood struts I picked up at SC. They are a nice upgrade. Then went out back for a trail ride and saw a nice stand of Redbud bushes. Couldn't resist a vanity shot.

Cleaned all of the front end stuff with a wire brush and wire wheel. Installed new track bar bushings. Drank a few beers and contemplated what I was getting into. Sure miss driving the old girl to the farm.
