What have you done to your Bronco today?

'Not technically my Bronco anymore, as I gifted it to my daughter two years ago. The larger tires (33"X12-1/2") that I had put on it made it too difficult for her to drive much with my stock manual brakes and steering. So she finally pulled the trigger on some major updates. Our member "nvrstuk"s recommendation, we took it to Crazy Bronco Man, CBM Designs out of Canby, OR, Robert Warke, and let him perform his magic on this old girl... Power steering, front discs, power steering, Bilstein shocks, replaced my edelbrock performer with a Holly Sniper EFI w/new 23 gallon fuel tank and fuel delivery system, new steering hardware and a few other goodies.

I drove this Bronco home from Canby, OR to North Vancouver, WA on Interstate 5 and averaged ~65-75 mph for 40 minutes or more, almost unheard of speeds prior to this work, and had to say, "This is NOT my old Bronco". Not white knuckles, It drove like a dream!

Started with some PO built drag link ugliness. Sure it worked, but I had no idea what tie rod ends or links they used along with 2 pieces of pipe. And it was NOT a GM 1ton on the passenger side. I got the steering damper hooked up last night. In the end it got 4 new ball joints, WH 4340 axle shafts w/CTM u joints.

New TBP lock in/outs. Yes the Bullet Proof Steering kit used and steering linkage rods were for a full size Bronco. So I cut both to proper length, tapped the ends and got it all back together. http://bulletproofsteering.com/

I started rebuilding the tcase yesterday until I hit a snag, waiting to hear back from advanced

Started working toward getting the dash off and pulling the wiring from underneath...didn't get to pull the dash (two screws were stuck and had to get some soaking time with PB Blaster). It was a nice chance to see the windshield hinge condition, though, and it wasn't as bad as I had envisioned. I'll have some rust converter/protectant on order to treat it. Does anyone have any recommendations on replacing those dash screws? I was thinking of hitting a local hardware store, but I'd like some nice stainless for that belt-and-suspenders kind of protection 🤓
