My second Bronco... Crawler build- pic heavy!

Looking good bro! Very impressive, cant wait for my dad to get home so I can start to get things back to normal around here. I will def be burning some midnight oil again real soon and making some big advances. At least I have friends like you who are plugging away so I'll have something to admire. Keep it going! By the time this one is done I think we need to talk about a nice little FG bronco body and my golf cart... could see Trent having a go with it. ;)

Anyone know who's Bronco this is and where I could view a build thread?? Its pretty close to what I am looking toward and I wanted to see some detail...

That is one of Maui Matt's old rigs. He is on classic and pirate- be careful, there is not much "bronco" left there and I now know how you feel about "all bronco". :)

Got most of the rear spring and shock hangers cut off... What a pain! Threw tires on it to see where it is... Love the look!

Got a little done this weekend... Spent a lot of time, but only got a little done...

Decided to go with simple hoops on the rear for the coilovers. I don't want to wait on a cage design to tie them in, so I will tie the hoops into the cage at later date. Still a long way to go, but hopefully by weeks end, I will have the passenger side done and sitting on all four tires for the first time since I started!!

Top of the shock had to be angled in more than I wanted initially, but to clear the tires at full stuff- this is where they had to be. I could have moved the bottom in, but this should give more stability.

Flexed it out and everything looks like it clears and functions well!

Damn... No getting away with it now. It may be the shakedown run and I doubt it will have seen any paint, but I think it's doable!

No pics tonight, but the rig is now holding its own weight on the axles!! I have a substitute steel stock in place for the coil overs. This will allow me to finish squaring up the body and get the tires on it to see how it looks overall. This was a big hurdle to me...

I will move on to finishing the passenger floor board, then gutting the rockers and adding some protection. Still a long way to go.

I remember those days of tack welded tubing holding my rear end up until I got the coilovers in! Keep it up man... I'll head to KY for it's inaugural run - what in August maybe??
