Finally was able to put the vinyl lettering on my newly painted tailgate, after patiently waiting a month for it to cure. Letter color matches the grille, hardtop, and soon to-be-applied special decor stripe.

Where did you get those vinyl letters? And do they come in different colors? That is a great looking color combo.

Thanks so much! These were cut by Drew at broncitisparts.com, who was great to work with. I believe Drew is a user here, or was at one point. I had a very specific charcoal metallic I was trying to match on my hardtop and found Oracal 951 #937 to be absolutely spot on. Drew was able to custom order the exact color and make these letters for me, actually from the remnants of the special decor stripe kit, which I also ordered. I have not been able to put the stripe kit on yet because one of my rear quarter panels needs paint first, but I am itching to do so! I was blown away by the Oracal 951…it literally looks like the letters are painted on. Give Drew a shout!

I agree Drew is great to work with. I got the stripes and letters for my Bronco as well as the stripes for my gen 6 bronco from him. all are high quality.

I didn't do anything yet, but I got a time scheduled to get my new half cab top painted. its going to take a bit of body work to get it to fit, but the guy who painted my bronco is going to do it, so I know he will do a great job. I like the way it looks sitting on there. can't wait to see it painted. but he is booked up for a while. it should be done by spring though, I plan to go to super celebration in wisconsin again this year. I would like to go to the one in townsend, but scheduling for work isn't going to work out this year.

very cool. Now, along with the wiring schematics, you can know not only what does what, but where it's supposed to go while doing it.
And in a pinch, you can find out "what this thing is hanging here with nothing attached to it" too!:D

Finished my rock rails with custom removable steps, installed fender flares and took it to the car wash for its first official wash since 2004.
Afterwards drove the ol' EB on the Christmas parade where it seem to be the most popular vehicle out there 😬.

Yes. The break was between 70 and 71.
In 70, the fuse panel was on the firewall/floor. While in 71, the fuse panel was moved to the glove box.
The wiring diagrams, however, did not make the change. Luckily though, the actual wiring scheme was Virtually identical with regards to colors and function. Just that the locations of some things changed.
So 70 was the last year for the two rectangular firewall connectors behind the fuse panel. In 71 wire bundles used pass-throughs with grommets on both sides of the engine compartment.
