That was much more informative than the reveal. Thanks for posting!

    Interco TSL SX opinions needed

Most of the time the hubs were the fuse link. I still broke outer axles, 19 spline. Always carried 2 sets of hubs on the trail.

    Interco TSL SX opinions needed

I ran 37” BFG stickies on a built D44. 4:88 w/air locker, CTM joints, and 4340 axles. Carried extra set of complete axles and hubs for trail repairs. Always broke something over the weekend.

Yes it’s the fill plug. The type of fluid used is a hot topic.

A/c vents remind me of the vents on my ‘79 F150.

    Interco TSL SX opinions needed

That 38” tire may be too much tire for the D44, even with the RCV’s. I’m talking heavy trail use. Make sure you carry extra parts on the trail, hubs, RCV parts.

    Different grades of tires question...

Just placed an order with Discount tire for a set of Goodyear Duratrac. They could have set at store by Monday, but date code on 3 were from 2019, 1 from 2020. They are looking for a fresh set for me. I’m replacing a set of BFG all terrain that are 8 yo, with minimal wear.

Factory track bar early and late

Stock bar Should be ok with 2” lift. I have 2.5” lift w/adjustable track bar. It’s set at stock length, and side to side measurements are good.

    289 ...2 or 4 ?

I’ve run the autolite 2100 on my 289 since I got it in the late 90’s. It’s a good carb. 600 com is too much carb.

How Carb Guys See Fuel Injection

I love the simplicity of my Autolite 2100. I could rebuild it on the tailgate on the side of the road if necessary. EFI is Greek to me.

Thank you to James Duff Inc. for the last 5+ years! The RPM Garage is now full time.

Are you the same Mike that took care of freight damage claims for Duffs?

What have you done to your Bronco today?

Replaced original ps pump w/Saginaw pump and new hoses. Flushed the radiator, replaced upper, lower, and bypass hoses. And replaced the 2 v belts.

    COVID Bronco improvements thread

What started off to be tie rod and c-bushing replacement mushroomed into regear front to match rear end w/tru-trac carrier, T-Rex radius arms, and Ford front disk conversion w/vacuum booster. I guess I went over budget a little.
