    Upgrades you regret

We always see the upgrades that people wish they did sooner or dream about doing. But what about the upgrade you wish you wouldn’t have done now in hindsight. What’s an upgrade you haven’t been happy with?

    Can I use a 89 302 short block in my 69

Are you running a carb or fuel injection? You can use it you just might have to change out the front accessories and other bits.

    302 cooling issue

https://classicbroncos.com/forums/threads/keeping-engine-cool-with-ac.324622/ Check out this thread that is currently being discussed and similar to your situation. I would start with ditching your electric fan and converting to the explorer serpentine front dress to get a good fan clutch and...

    Looking for tire deflator kit

I run a Morrflate compressor with a 4 way hose for airing up and down. It is pricey but I hate sitting at the beginning or end of a trail airing up or down. It will do all of 4 of my 37” tires in about 5 minutes airing up from 15psi to 40 psi. Airing down is only a couple minutes. This is the...

    Keeping Engine Cool With AC

What about cutting part of the inner fender well out and possibly a hood scoop to increase air flow?

    Keeping Engine Cool With AC

You could try using a 180 degree thermostat? How old is your water pump?

    Keeping Engine Cool With AC

Not sure how much it would help but you could drop the coolant/water to 50/50 mix instead. Water is much better at cooling than antifreeze.

    Scissor Jack

From what I’ve seen and could be wrong, they are the same from 1999 to now. I’d try and get a newer one though but that’s just me.

    Scissor Jack

A popular option is the bottle jack from super duty trucks. It’s a mechanical bottle jack and quite compact. It should easily lift an EB!

    1969’s build thread

Found a vintage license plate topper from Harold’s Club which was an old Casino here in town. It was active from 1935 to 1995 before finally closing its doors. The plate topper is from the 60’s or 70’s. I think I’ll just run it on the front like this without a front plate.

    1968 bronco help needed

I would suggest converting the front to disk brakes. A capable mechanic or if you’re up to the task could do it. The vendors sell complete kits and would greatly improve your braking.

Driving a Bronco - Tips and Advice?

Sounds like you’ll be just fine then! I’d be pro active about all maintenance considering these are ~50 year old vehicles.

Driving a Bronco - Tips and Advice?

What shape is your bronco in? Is it fully restored with a coyote? Or is it an original truck that’s been used? If it’s the first I’d have flat bed towing coverage, if it’s the latter I’d still have flat bed towing coverage and a basic set of tools in the back.

What am I about to get myself into?

Your Bronco looks great! I would definitely just keep driving it and do one thing at a time.
