    I’ve been working on getting the front clip off. I got some of the bolts off no problem, but I’ve had to cut most of them off. Everything looks to be in good shape for the most part. No signs of rust at all. Is the front of the core support slightly angled back?

    As said above you’ll need the Explorer cover. You should be able to get one at any auto parts store or online from Wild Horses, BC, or even rock auto.

    Age old question..which battery?

    A group 24 battery to keep the positive terminal away from the body. As for brand, I would get an Interstate Battery from Costco. They have a no questions asked 24 month free replacement and prorated up to 36 months if I’m not mistaken. Along with a great price for a great battery!
