If it were me, I would see if the starter would turn over with the screwdriver on the solenoid trick. If so, then with the key turned to "RUN" and using the screwdriver trick to turn the starter. This would help in troubleshooting.

I was a bit unclear, I am casually looking for one and that one pictured is early-mid 80s from ebay (Mustang, Econoline, etc). I just thought it looked the part and I like knobs better than buttons.
Mine was cut for a 1-DIN radio.
I was thinking about using a FOMOCO stereo from the 80s.
Does anyone know if these are 1-DIN?

Back in late 2014, I purchased a stock height kit (#13753) from Bronco Graveyard. It replaced the harsh non-oem suspension that was on my Bronco when I purchased it. That was over 90k miles ago. Nothing negative to say and still performs fine.
My Lokar cable did the same.
I just swapped the cable head to the other side of the carb linkage.

That is the one that has been in my Bronco for years. I do place it in a "box" with supporting stuff like fluids, funnels, bottle jack, etc.

Oil gauge:
I installed a liquid filled motorcycle gauge via a "tee" off the end of the stock extender - allowing stock sender and manual gauge. It is tight, but works fine.
