I will let someone with 1st hand experience chime in, but it is my understanding that every factory Bronco comes with a 1/4 inch discrepancy between left and right A pillars.

And any discrepancies aside, if your body was fitted together properly before you started taking it apart, then the rake of your core support is correct.
After all, almost everything relies on almost everything else to be at least close! 😉🙄

It’s the little things sometimes when I’m building a vehicle. Found this license plate frame from the Ford dealership that was around my city in the late 1960’s and 1970’s. It has just the right amount of patina to match the body of my Bronco.

That’s very cool! I have some brand new ones for my dealer where my pick up was originally purchased.
I also found one for the old Ford dealership that Wild Horses took over! Running that one on my’68.

I didn’t know that Wild Horses took over an old dealership that’s cool!

Would be cool to have an original Wild Horses tag surround.
All the dealers around where I grew up were too cheap to do metal tag surrounds. At best you got a heavy paper “tag” with the dealer logo printed on it…that is if they didn’t pull it to put on another car on the lot. Lol

Growing up around here, all the dealers used metal license plate frames. I always hated the habit of other dealers in other areas, of putting their cast metal logos on the back of the bodies of the vehicles. I’m not against advertising, just that I thought it was cheesy to drill holes into a new vehicle to put your name on it. That’s something that the car owner could do, but not the dealer!
But now that all those vehicles are vintage, those old dealer emblems are just cool beyond words.
Some things just go around and come around!

And yes, we moved into the old Geweke (geh-vee-kee) Ford dealership In Lodi after they closed down.

A big box of (painful for me) wires showed up today

@904Bronco Thank you for the words of encouragement! I need to fix the body first, and then collect a few more parts such as a gauge cluster, vintage air and fuel injection before I tackle the wiring.

Found a vintage license plate topper from Harold’s Club which was an old Casino here in town. It was active from 1935 to 1995 before finally closing its doors. The plate topper is from the 60’s or 70’s. I think I’ll just run it on the front like this without a front plate.
