Metal fab looks great, I imagine its not to difficult just need the place, tools and time Ive been messing with a 70' and the previous overhauler just welded the new floor pans on top of the old swiss cheese ones. Had to remove the auxilary fuel tank to cut off wheel to a reasonable end.
That Chevy axle set looks rubicon ready on that old bronco!
I have a Dana 50 twin traction beam front and Sterling 10.25 rear I couldnt see getting scrapped off a 88' f250 and have been wanting to fabricate it under something.

Thank you, my buddy is the wizard with the welder.
It had Chevy axles when I got it at first but we switched them out for 05+ Ford Super Duty axles.
That would be cool under an EB, not sure I have seen someone do a TTB front!

When the previous or one of the previous owners decided to cut out a hole in the core support with a torch they also ruined the front body mount. We got that replaced and got the hole patched up as well. Definitely not going to win best body and paint at a car show but that’s okay. It will be functional.

(The mount wasn’t fully welded in yet in this photo)

With all the sheet metal work you’re doing, have you decided to keep the stock air intake for the stock heater system? Or is there a plan for AC or some other modification to stock?

For now I am going to keep the stock heater/intake. Eventually I’ll go to a vintage air setup but I am focusing on the mandatory things to just get it running.

Filled in the PO’s hole for the fuel cell they put in the bed… think I’ll leave it bare to rust and add to the patina. Thoughts?

When I did the body off on mine, I had all the removable sheet metal off, so just the tub and seat. It was spooky fast that way.
Are you going to put anything electrical in the doors?

I’ve thought about putting speakers in the door panels, but I’m not sure yet. It’s either there or the kick panels.
