Great Pics everyone! Looks like everyone had a great time! Wish we could have made it down. Glad to see Spring is coming, were still waiting on leaves.
Doesn't look to muddy considering the rain you guys appeared to be getting. Much washout on the little rubicon? Looks like you guys (and gals) enjoyed a good day of weather and wheeling.
All in all it was a very enjoyable trip. I had one heck of time getting every thing to come together at work so I could get mine ready to hit the trails. Then on the way there we had a left rear tire on the truck blow. Doing this in the middle of the I430 bridge is not a good place to do it. Got it off the bridge and even though traffic had more than ample room to not run us over changing a flat there was just not going to happen. The rim was already ruined so limped to a safer area. In no time we were back on the road. Once at the park every thing went swimmingly.;D Only Astark and Brett had a small case of the bad mojo. But, even that was handled with ease.
I guess just opening the hood and then dropping it back down was all it needed, because that fixed the mysterious short lived problemGlad to see someone else with the hood up.......ay Alan!;D
These 2 pictures are classic. The look on Alex's face.;D
I had just seen something in the shadows off in the woods out of the corner of my eye, when the Bronco stalled out. I checked the fuel pump and it was running, opened the hood and then closed it, and all was fine. But I never did get a good look at what that was in the woods%)
Had a great time yesterday and I got lots of pics. The wife took upwards of 175 and I'm sorting some out to upload this morning before church. Here goes....
What kind of bumper is that on your rig?
Thanks! The front bumper came from ebay :-X - Ryan's Truck and Fabrication. I see them sell for $225-250 for front and rear on there.
The rear is fabbed by me because I wanted to incorporate some rear quarter protection (after the fact! I might add). So I bobbed the rear quarters and extended the bumper underneath it and then added a tire carrier. I'll be taking the front off soon enough after I make one to match the rear.
i will still trade ya ;D front for front AND back lol
