how to clean maf and iab?

i reset the tps...found it at .92 vlt set to .98

ECT is ready low... .82....waiting on engine to reach temp now to retest


i also rechecked the ECT...its still showing .80-.82 volts. thats not good from ive read. would changing this out change the voltage? im sure i changed this out last year?

There is MAF specific cleaner available at parts stores. Just be very careful of the sensor elements.

IAB can be cleaned with carb cleaner or brake cleaner. You should remove it to get both openings cleaned good.

TPS only needs to be in the .8-1.2V range at idle. The ECM looks at the voltage during startup and remembers it until shutdown. As long as it's in that range it's ok.

i ran to the store, got the cleaners...cleaned the AIB and MAF...


im begining to think the fuel pressure is my issue. its a jegs inline HP pump. ive swapped it before. its starting to whine really bad and i think its screwing up again.

i can slowly bring the throttle up high, but still cant stab it

HOLD ONTO YOUR HORSES BOYS!!!!


i removed the jegs fuel filter and found trash in it, clean the heck out of it and reinstalled it.
PUMP IS QUIET!!! AND FREE REVS TO 5500!!!!


gonna eat right now, then test drive...cross your fingers!

WooHoo trash in the can! Thats an easy fix.. I am sure you have wiped the sweat from your brow on that discovery.
