Im reading it.. Just finished catching up on all your progress. I ended up wiring in a switch that controls the computer only. It wont start or die with just the key. The key powers all the accessories and the switch powers the computer. Also very effective incase of a rollover. Were you able to get that solved?

Yeah that is fixed, it has one line in so I can do a switch like you are talking about. I had one like that on my MSD.

Right now I am just worried that I will need new injectors. We will see after I run some gas with seafoam through it.

I have got a ton of products in the tank, not a major improvement but there is some. I'm going to pull the plenum and the injectors.

Orielys said it's not throwing any codes at all... weird and I don't believe them.

Anybody know a good article on injector cleaning and testing?

It is still losing all power and backfiring under quick application of throttle or under load.

That and the 1200-1500 rpm idle says something is not right. First try a different tach to verify the idle speed. Some tachs are not very accurate at low speeds. Then see if unplugging the IAC will bring the idle down. If it doesn't you have a vacuum leak or the idle stop screw is set too far in. IAC can be very dirty inside also.

I'm hearing the tell tale whistle of a vac leak, whilst tightening down the plenum I noticed it was pinching the harness and had to back off and start over, looks like I was too late. However if I pull the injectors and replace the gasket and put it all back and it still has a problem, then I will go for the IAC next. It had bugs in it when I cleaned it...

Ok, so overnight the injectors soaked in a bucked of seafoam. I hit them all with 12 volts this morning and they all were very very responsive. I tossed everything back together, checked for leaks and torqued the plenum back down to 16ft lbs later on I will start it up and see what happens.

FP holds steady at 40 psi pump on no vac. pump off it drops to 35-40 psi and holds.

I think at this point there is not much else to replace, I have spark at the plugs and I get one hell of a fireball if I hold a torch to the tailpipe.

I just got back from the store and I am going to replace the plugs as a last ditch effort.

It's been a long time since I updated this thread. Long story short I spent a lot of time and money on an EFI swap that did not work. There was something wrong with the motor that the EFI just did not like.

Now it's back up and running using the Autolite 2100 off of my other bronco that I rebuilt and it's kicking ass.

I added a new cage, new floors, built a trans tunnel from old metal shelves, put the MSD back on, got rid of a bunch of crap like hood latch put on some hood shocks "OCBR raffle ;D" and just getting the old horse back into fighting shape! I'm excited to get it back on the trail with beadlocks and a winch.

Winch i added was a Warn XD9000 that my wife got me for 175 bucks! owner said it was broken. I cleaned it and it works great. I cut up the cradle it came with and grafted it into the bumper I have. I also drilled and frenched the bumper to add some HMMWV pull points that were toss outs at work.

Bummer is I blew a 37" MTR on a test drive, I have one spare so I'll need to make another spare to be on the safe side for OCBR.

The cage is an old Bailie built from waaaaay back that I got from 71thunder. It was a bit of a drive to go get it but in the end my family will be safe and it fits the budget. I had to remove the dash bar and add another one up higher so I added a grab handle made from the old dash bar. I'll need to shorten the pass side front pillar 3/4" to make it a perfect fit but that isn't a huge deal right now.

Also added power brakes, got the kit off of ebay for 150 or something with the braket and booster. Makes me wonder how I did it all that while with bad manual brakes.

Ok, pay check was a touch fatter than normal. Need to do a hardcore budget for OCBR, like beer and fuel. I ordered the parts to make another H1 beadlock so I'm square for tires but I need to run the books and see if I can afford chromo front shafts or not.

Finished the last H1 wheel today. It was a hot hot hot one to be welding. Looks like I'll be running 2 H1 wheels with 2 race lines. I'll run the raceline wheels on the front since they weigh less.

Super happy when I have a cheap mod that works great! I got this bell Bike brake kit at a sports store for 11 bucks and it had all the parts I needed to use with my 2bbl for a SUPER smooth hand throttle mounted on my shifter.

http://www.amazon.com/Bell-Bike-Cal...1378742378&sr=1-5&keywords=bell+bicycle+brake

I drove almost all the way to work without using the gas pedal!

I've been looking to do this mod - did you happen to do a write up? Or did you use one already out there? Can you share more?

Thanks!
