Looking for accurate picture of 1971 Astra Blue Poly?

I see a picture of Astra Blue posted by hammer on 10/12 08. When I google the image of Astra Blue Bronco it looks like a 1971 of a different darker blue. Also when I look in thread "What color is your Bronco? Tomdee 11/27/09 page 3 shows a 1971 Astra Blue which is also a darker blue. I have seen chips samples that look mostly like the darker blue except for one sheet at a local Colours shop. I am ready for paint, did not think I would be so confused. Thinking I would like to keep original for that year because I believe that was first year the blue was offered in a Poly, which I've been told means metallic. But if it is that dark I might go with 1976 Medium Blue Poly. Thanks Slim

If it helps, I know this '71 was originally Astra Blue. It has been repainted and I can't promise it's an exact match, but it is close.

Don't see it on the '69 (post 128) or '70 (post #86) charts from PPG. Plenty of dark greens, but no "Ivy" that I saw. Until '74 that is. They've got an Ivy, but not "Dark" Ivy.
Looks like Holly and Mallard were the two darkest Greens of the years near yours.
Sometimes the "Norway" color looks Black, other times Green. Maybe someone can confirm it's Black or otherwise?

Is "Dark Ivy" the way yours is listed as on the VIN info you've been able to look up?
Could it just be that someone used the name generically, but it's from a different year Ford color listing?

I have a 69 with paint code "N" Norway. it is green. these are the only pictures I have of areas on the inside that still have it's original paint, the outside was re painted at some point and has faded.

Great info to have on hand. Makes you wonder that back in the day you had so many colors to pick from, but today you get about five to pick from! Hats off to Ford, Chevy and Mopar for slathering on some vivid colors on the new breed of muscle cars! The louder the better! Thanks to all that are putting this together. Its going to really mess with me on future paint selections!
