I had a great time at the Fawl Crawl as always it's great to take in an event that you only have to enjoy not put on;)
Here are some of the pics we took over the weekend and some that were VERY late Saturday night! You never know what can happen to a " horse " of a different breed that gets parked in the wrong stable.......;D

The pics are great, and most of these are the moderate to extreme groups. I love watching them crawl all over the rocks. But don't be scared away if your rig is not built to do this. Our group ran green and blue trails for 2 days, had fun, didn't break anything (at least not trail related) and our guide was open front and rear. We had a stock jeep in our group, with the only upgrade being 31" tires, he had no problems getting through. If you want hard-core trails, they are there for you, but if you don't, there are plenty of trails that you can run with just about any equipment. I hope to get pics posted tonight of our group. Make plans to come next year!

I want to give a big thanks to everyone who came and to those posting more pics. Keep them coming!

As is tradition with the Fawl Crawl event, MEB again this year, in lieu of an event fee, collected a donation from each participating rig for support of the local park. This year we were able to collect $440.00 which will be donated to the Harlan County Rescue Squad. This is a volunteer group partially funded by Harlan County, which does rescue and recovery work in the park. KYMC suggested this as the best use for the collected funds. Again a Big Thanks to everyone who attended and donated.

Oh yeah! Mark your calendars now for next year's Fawl Crawl. It will be Friday and Saturday October 9 and 10, 2009. See you there!

You know who you are - you've got 1 year to get your rig done!! ;D

Pics from the group that ran green and blue trails, AND a pic of CREMEPUFF that was conquered by Karl Bradley. It doesn't look nearly as imtimidating in this pic as it did standing at the bottom looking up. And yes, there was a Jeep behind me most of both days. He actually did as well as the broncos.

I had a great time again this year.. thanks again to the MEB people who put it all together, you guys do an excellent job.!! the 1200+ mile trip was a little bit of a killer but well worth it, even if the gas mileage did suck... I need to learn to slow down and get better mpg... I had the new yukon in the right front installed and it held up good through out the weekend. I can't say the same for the rear, it broke at the end of day on saturday starting into can opener. I even kept it on all 4's this year.. it's hard to believe how much the trails will change in 1 year.

I always have my camera with me but never take many pic's. here are the 3 that I took. the guy in the yota came with me and had an awesome time. he also thought the group put together a nice weekend and was impressed that Randy stayed in the cab the whole day... everyone else he has had with bailed at some point.. he said on the way home about maybe joining the club.. he has been looking at few bronco's here and there to buy..

Brian: Glad you all had a good time. I had a couple good conversations with Pete - seemed like a real nice guy. I like what he's done to his yota - whatever works well! He's welcome to join us anytime. But encourage him to keep looking for a Bronco! ;D
