Here are some pics from both days. Weather was perfect! The rain during the days prior to the ride did make the rocks slippery, though!

I hope somebody got pics of Karl making it up Cream Puff!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the MEB Fawl Crawl. Pass this along to your buddies who ran Jeeps, Toyotas, etc as they probably don't want to be seen reading a "bronco forum". It was a great weekend, weather was perfect (as Scoop mentioned) and no injuries (at least not bronco-related ones). We traveled 920 miles round trip and spent $240 on fuel. I know lots of guys came farther than we did and spent more than we did, and hopefully everyone thinks it was worth the trip. I sure do. We're already talking about next year!

Congratulations to MEB member Karl Bradley who adds his name to a very short list of rigs that conquered Creme Puff trail (looks more like a widow-maker to me). I hope there are some pics of it. I'll post some from the group I was with tonight.

Thanks to Gary Gibson (Scoop) for taking the lead on this event and Nick Hopman (NHopman) for corraling the Carolina boys and providing the awesome Fawl Crawl t-shirts for us.

Be sure to join us at the next event.

Sorry Laddle I got stuck down in TX for work and there was just not enough time to get my junk towed over to Harlan.

Sounds like I got a fire under you to make it over anyway

Just got a few videos. First is William having a hard time on Lion's Den at the infamous "tree and rock" spot. Watch for the tree taking out one of his driving lights . . .

He did eventually make it through after a side winching brought his rear around for a better line up.

Here are a couple of me going up Rail Bed. I went right up it on Friday, but on Saturday all the rocks had been turned over and were wet and much more slippery. The video is a little deceiving in that it does not look a steep as it is.

Pam - Thanks for taking the videos.

Thanks to everyone for a good time and the MEB folks who put forth all of the effort to make this event a success. Thanks to Nick for a shotgun seat due to mechanical failures - Nick has a very capable rig and is not afraid to "let her eat."

This was my first trip to Harlan and will definitley be back. It's about an hour longer trip than Tellico but I'll drive that extra hour again - super trails! I look forward to having my rock crawler there next year.

It was great putting faces to names and meeting a lot of ya'll. Look forward to seeing you in the future.

Cream Puff

The Fawl Crawl was fantastic as always. Great people and a great place to wheel. Thanks for the props on making Cream Puff. I have prepaid a heep club to send me a vid of the run. They broke three rigs in a row before I ran the obstacle. I have a couple of buds around this area who wont believe the pile made it up until they see it(Heep and buggy owners)...
I also have some friends from Ga. who filmed it. Hoping to get some "evidence" to show the fun. :)
Thanks again to Judy and Roger for the extra "bunk" :)

Yeah, I drug my junk over there to see you and William and you didn't show. :( I was really looking forward to seeing you but at least I got to wheel with William again. It'd been several years since I had seen him as well. The old bronco didn't perform very well Saturday but I think what it needs most is a driver. ;D Nothing broken other than a pinched sidewall and William was there with plenty of plugs to fix that. I enjoyed the ride and seeing some peoples I hadn't seen in a while and meeting some new guys and gals. Maybe next year Ben. :p

The trip back was a little longer than expected as we had to stop every 30 or so miles and put the turbo outlet silicon boot back on due to the 32 lbs of boost Ryan was feeding his 6.0l stroke.I ended up driving the red Toyota from the NC line back to my house so Ryan didnt have to spool his rig up so much and I actually got the yota up to 60 mph several times.Had a great time other than not being able to drive my rig due to a bad injector but we will be back.

laddle, you can't be more disappointed than I was about missing it. On the upside my daughter and I headed south for a dad/daughter camping trip in the bronco and had a great time just hanging out.

Maybe next year?
