10+ hours in the garage today... I love fabricating!! But damn I have made a huge mess... Calling it a day to reorganize the shop and start back on burning in frame brackets tomorrow!

Great work Todd! Last march swag offroad had a booth at our 4x4 swap meet & I shelled out $300 for there portaband table, roller dies & heavy duty brake & got a free t-shirt to!

There sh*t is the sh*t!!!

I've been busy doing motor swaps & complete wire harness installs for customers but hopefully next week I'll make some more progress on mine to. Your right fabricating can be so rewarding but man what a mess it makes lol!

Yeah... I spent another 6 hours on it today and didn't even get the other side bracket fully burned in... It was progress though!

Hey Todd, you do know that Skiddy is inspecting those welds...and he ain't called "booger" on any of them!!!;D;D;D

LOL!!

After seeing the welds I cut off this thing, I would fear anything half ass! I had some issues with my welder today, cut all the welds out and started over. They won't all look perfect, but they will be strong and booger free!!

Hey MR. You peged it with those heavy wall lowers---big axles, I did the same thing, and all that unsprung weight is a plus with my deal. It does not feel one bit top heavy at speed or what it's seen so far trailing it, tried to figure out how to keep it on the ground---but just coud'nt get there from here. Mine's 105 wb and it sits tall---the suspention program that i was using confused me----guess I got lucky. Man your close and it looks good, let us know when your ETA is.

ETA... I wish it would be early this spring, but I just have no idea. I am going a different route on tcases, will do something with the motor, rewire, replumb everything, gotta get a cage and build bumpers... Which all takes funds... The bane of any build.

makes me wish I had a cnc plasma table...

We have a non functioning plasma at work... I am authorizing funds to fix it or buy new with the start of 2014 budget! We have a sister company with a full CNC laser... Can cut up to 1" thick, 10' wide sheets... But I have yet to be able to squeeze time in on it. Perfectly content with my portaband turned vertical bandsaw!

Got absolutely nothing done today... Rented an RZR for $130 and took out some aggression on a local ATV park for about 6 hours!! Showed my bro in law that with the right driver, a 570 could stay with a 800 on the trails!!

Back on brackets tonight!

Well the last couple of days has had some ups and downs... Biggest issue being the tear down of my 20 year crawler project... Sad Day- Click Here. It was like a family member...

Anyway, I will be recovering some money for the Bronco Crawler.

I also got the grille narrowed 14"... I am a little concerned how far the 44s on 10" wide beadlocks with 3" back spacing will stick out...
