Are we looking at a stroked 351 for this build???

I am going to pull the heads and see what the cylinders look like. Truck was running well when pulled in favor of a 4BT conversion.

If all looks well, I will leave the bottom end alone and throw my heads and rockers on with a new set of pushrods and valve covers. Staying with 19lb injectors and MAF on a Mustang upper and stock lower.

I may cam it eventually, but trying to keep the $$ low on this motor. The 351w will have more power than the '94 318 in my old crawler!

Took a day off to do nothin but work on my rigs... The tow rig needed a new rear caliper, so that took part of the day, but I finally got the old 351, C6 & NP205 out of the crawler. It was a bear, but is out and ready for a good cleaning!

No kidding!!

Actually the drivers side had been hacked up by the PO, so I chopped it. Then I realized I didn't have a way to lift the front of the frame as the front axle now sits under the crossmember, do I left the other temporarily. It will come off soon too!

It's funny what catches people's eyes!

The more I look at these pics, the more I wish I had room to remove the body and work on the frame and underside of the body.

Well the last couple of days has had some ups and downs... Biggest issue being the tear down of my 20 year crawler project... Sad Day- Click Here. It was like a family member...

Anyway, I will be recovering some money for the Bronco Crawler.

I also got the grille narrowed 14"... I am a little concerned how far the 44s on 10" wide beadlocks with 3" back spacing will stick out...

On page 22 of my build thread in my signature, there is a photo of mine if you want to take a look. 17" taken out of the grille, 42x13.50's on 9 inch wheels with 4.5 backspacing. Not exactly what you are looking for, but kinda closewith our backspacing difference and difference in grille length. They look similar. Nice build so far!

I built a 2x4 frame with casters to set the tub on. It was basically the size of the bed so it would sit flat on the bed. Without the front core, it balanced well and I could roll it around. Then it worked well for flipping it and putting it upside down so the inside of the bed rested on the cart. I built it high enough so that it was a good level to work on it. I rolled it in and out and ended up storing it parked perpendicular to the chassis behind the chassis in the garage. Tight for but everything was mobile.

It looks great! I look forward to seei the finished project at Super Celebration!

Wow... That's a little ambitious!!

I have my 75 sitting on the other side of the garage and its in the middle of a gas tank swap I started in November (I think). I need room to work and I also have three engines in the garage, a C6 trans, two gas tanks, NP205, NP203, an explorer EFI, a mustang EFI, the bumper and spare tire off the 75, two or three winches laying around, plus misc parts and steel tubing for this build. You have to be special to walk around in this semi organized mess...:D

Man I love your rig and hope mine comes out 1/10 as nice! What did you do for the fender lip? And here did you start the cut to dovetail the rear?
