We won't make OCBR after all. We were going to spend a few days visiting our daughter in OKC then go on to Hot Springs. This week my son told me they had announced a 'family day' at his workplace at Bell Helicopter in Amarillo. They only do this on short notice every couple years. Anyone who works there can bring family in and tour the skunkworks where they build the AH-1Z, Osprey, and Bell 525 Relentless. I can't pass it up, plus we haven't spent family time with my son and his family since Easter.
I hate missing this event, but you guys lost the coin toss.

Family first.....we'll leave some dust for you next year :) Osprey is a strange bird, my duck hunting Marine buddy was an Osprey pilot. I've never been around them, but we saw them several times daily fly over when at the beach this summer near Camp Lejeune.

I gots some peeps that will say I was nowhere near St. Landry parish when that crime happened;D

That struck me so funny, the wife too, and is just another reason we will miss you. But there should still be plenty of wit and humor to go around this year ;D

Nope your good. Bring it on.

I'm set. I have been working hard to clear the work load. worked 3 / 12's fri sat and sun. but I am getting it done. just 2 more days of work and I'm on a plane. Wish I could of hauled the bronco out but it adds 4 days to the trip. I will have fun regardless. Looking forward to it.

Well due to my ridiculous work schedule, I wasn't able to get the bronco even started for this years event. I already took off this weekend so I will be down there to at least look around at all the wild ponys, and hope for a seat on a trail or two. If anyone has some room for Thursday and Friday, shoot me a pm and I would happy to fill a seat.

BUT NEXT YEAR.......yeah I'm gonna be ready.

Does everyone go out onto the trails at the same time in the morning? Is there a schedule of events? If I take my Bronco out on the bunny slopes do I have to find a trail guide?

Sorry for all the questions. Still new to this...
