Rare Bronco options

Maybe the right hand mirror option on the Roadsters. It is specifically stamped 'RH MIRROR" on the buck tag of our 66.

The drivers remote mirrors that have been mentioned are not all that rare. Most if not all Rangers came with them. The inside the tailgate tire bracket is also fairly common on early years. The Ranchhand tire mount is more rare in my experiance (never parted one with it so far, but I got one stashed away for future use).

How many have factory 4.56 gears? I've not run across any of them either.

How 'rare' is the factory 4.10 LS in both the front 30 and rear 9" axles? My '69 has that..but no idea if it was common or not.

I've seen a picure of a bronco with a "camper/sleeper" similar to those "6 pack campers" for pickups. I thought I read it in a thread here and somebody had mentioned that that was an option.
Kind of funny looking.

I have factory 4.56 gears in my Bronco. I traded a guy my 3.50 LS for his 4.56 open. He also had 4.56 in the D30. I believe he had a '68 w/ a V6.

Do any of you guys have the factory 4.11 gears with the 302 motor? Most seem to be 3.50's.

I had factory 4.10s with double posi units from the factory. At least that is what the VIN plate showed. Evidence shows that both diffs had gernaded at least once in the past. That was before I put 4.88s in.

My 74 had 410's with LS in both front and rear as well, but I have no idea if it was stock i was the second owner.
yup that was an option....according to my book broncos were the only vehicle available at the time with front and rear tracktion devices.
My book also says 4 speed transmissions were available aftermarket parts as a bolt up kit. The kit gave 4 gears in 2wd and 8 gears forward and 2 reverse while in 4wd.

I have an original 75 with tire bracket on inside of tailgate with original spare and wheel mounted to it. It also has the factory undercoating. How rare is this during this year.

it is my understanding that the early in line 6's had the 4.56 gearing, making up a bit for engine size. the early broncos had 4.10's in them, switching to mostly 3.50's later for fuel mileage, I'm guessing around 71/72 when they went to the dana 44 front. i've owned some with trac-locks front and rear. had one 77 w/a rear sway bar- don't know if it was a factory option though.

All 6 cyl broncos came standard with 4.11's 4.56's were optional All V-8 broncos came standard with 3.50 gears and 4.11 was optional.
Sway bars were a option 76/77 only I believe havent seen a lot of those either

My 71 sport with V-8 has the optional 4.11 gears but only the rear came with LS but the front is a D44

Undercoating was a regional thing and may be part of the rusting out problem. I dont think under coating is rare unless you have it on a southwest DSO coded EB

Yup no aftermarket on that, seems like you could find something that could work though. Take a peak at the lmc catalogs and moulding inventories online, you might find something close.
