Installed a set of Nitto mud grappler tires that I bought from 4wheelonline on my 1977 Early Ford Bronco.

Hauled some gear to the field and continued to work on my obstacle course material. I now have 32 power poles cut into 8' to 11' long pieces to stack up. And then use some BIG tires to hold the ends of the stack in place. That is the plan anyway, now I have to get the X bro in law to come over with his skid steer to do the heavy lifting and moving. Not bad for FREE power poles.

I navigated the murky waters of explaining to my wife why it needs tires, even though I’ve barely driven on the used ones I’d picked up and had mounted (too big)

Took out the fuel sending unit out of my 73 and bent the float arm to try to get the gauge reading closer to actual. That looks like it worked. After bending and reinstalling my gauge was reading 1/4 tank. Went and got gas. It took 8+ gallons on a stock tank.

Installed ZF over the weekend, been challenging to say the least.
Mainly exhaust fitment and twin shift linkage, just need new drive shafts and
clutch master cylinder installed.

That's great to hear. Always like an accurate fuel gauge!
I had to do the same thing to both of my originals. Once that was done, they read perfectly for years, until I sold them to put in a larger tank.
Going to do the same thing to the new tanks as well.

Driving it

After a year plus of a ground up build, father and son, drove it. No doors or top yet, but hey may not put those on for a while anyway. First drive with no major stuff not done and not diagnosing problems!!! Parked, turned lights off grabbed and beer and just sat there. DAMN that has been a long project!! Will miss it once it’s done but will enjoy the driving part for sure.
