I am in the process of converting my engine over to the explorer serp and the engine is the 28oz. Can I just purchase this pulley and bolt it on and be good? What about the timing marks and all that people talk about? This is the only part I’m confused about.

Looks like you have a 4 bolt balancer. That pulley will not work. I had the same issue but had a 3 bolt balancer and purchased that pulley. for timing marks, just find TDC and make a pointer to line up with it. You'll then have to get timing tape to use for the rest.

You'll need to make sure you get a 28 oz three bolt balancer to use it.

Hooked up my reverse lights to the AX15. Now every time I go for a drive I find something else that needs fixing. Now it’s popping out of 2W high (rear stick) under load. Lovely thing to happen on the freeway.
I need to get mine hooked up also. Any tips? 69 model with 302. Replaced part of wiring harness a while back, used the chassis wiring replacement harness from CJ Pony parts. It says for automatic but was hoping to get it to work with ax15. They don't sell a manual trans harness.

This is what I wired into the stock harness. Plugs right into the ax15 pigtail.

Grinding and painting knuckles for disc brake conversion.
Replacing pump in parts washer so i can make all the parts pretty before covering in mud.
Which conversion did you pick? I just started tear down of front axle for same purpose on my 68 resurrection.

Working on my new winch plate/stock bumper install. Got a little more to go then disassemble, prep, and paint. Got to add tow bar connecting plates too. Buying a new to me motorhome in a few days and want to tow the bronco with me to all the campsites I plan on visiting this year. Just retired 11/23. Glad to see the rolling chassis with the elevated rear view. I’m working on brake/fuel lines with the body on and your shot clears up a lot of things that I can’t see on my 77. I really do NOT want to do a frame off so I’m gonna say thank you for posting that picture.

Will raise the cowl on the pass side also. Give me some more MUCH needed room. Holley Term X with COP...

Yes I have my wires connected to transmission but can't get them connected to the new chassis harness I installed earlier.
What part of the chassis harness did you replace? Was that you that mentioned that it was for an automatic?
The back up lights should be in the neutral safety switch connector. If you can find that and run your new wires from the transmission up to that, you should be able to get the back up lights to work.
Or if yours is still the original for the manual, The original wires would be up by the steering column under the hood.
If it’s a 73 or newer bronco, you would still have the chassis half of the neutral safety switch connector. Back up lamp wires included.

Took advantage of a small break in the rain/snow we have been getting to finish the frame painting. After cleaning with wire wheels using drills, angle grinder, air die grinder, ect, I coated the frame with 2 coats of Rust Bullet, and then 2 coats of KBS Blacktop Satin Black ChassisCoater. I also used Metal Blast on all exposed metal after I cleaned the rust off. I brushed the Rust Bullet on, and used 16oz spray cans for the KBS. I planned on shooting the KBS with a paint gun, but tried the aerosol can and it worked well. Very happy with the results so far.

I will do the same process for the underside of the body, already did a few spots that would be tough to get to after the frame was finished. I am pretty lucky with the underside, there was so much dirt and grease caked on that it protected a lot of it.

I forgot to thank you for those pictures as well. Since I am not pulling the body off, it was nice to clearly see all the places I am cleaning on the frame. Instead of 100 pictures that I took of each little area, I can just look at yours and see where everything goes!
