Man, I always thought the roller lifters and cams were bullet proof.....guess everything is going south quality wise. Sorry you have this going on!Name brand lifters, name brand cam with less than 10K miles. Yes it was broken in properly at 2-2.2K rpm, yes it had break in oil, yes it had cam lube on assembly, yes the engine was primed. Yes I've done this with dozens of large sbf strokers.

Got it out of the garage after 4 new ball joints, upgraded heim joint steering linkage. Finally got to install my WH 4340 chromoly front axle shafts with them snazzy CTM u-joints. I also had to replace the passenger side knuckle, and the power brake booster while I was in there. And went ahead and put on some TBP locking hubs.
