Wellllll I found this one at a junkyard in rural Oklahoma for $150 I don’t know if that is a good gauge for the going rate, but that’s what I paid.

I've been working lately on my patina build getting it ready to sell and I've neglected my trail rig all winter. In fact it still had dirt/mud on it since my overlanding trip in September! So I gave it some love today. Hand washed it and basically cleaned up the interior and exterior. I scraped a few old stickers off the bumpers and windshield that had started peeling up. Also removed the seats to clean underneath them. I then reinstalled the passenger seat as the driver's seat - they are the same exact seats. The former driver's seat foam bolstering on the outside of the seat bottom has detieriorated and I need to see if I can get it fixed. The seats are both passenger side buckets from an early 90's Miata.

Had original tire carrier. Removed it. Looked at options. Reinstalled it.

just finished inspecting brakes, lubed driveshafts, changed oil and filter, greased front wheel bearing and new front seals, new alternator belt... Just need to reinstall tires and wheels... I think she's ready for the drive to Townsend TN!!

TIDYING up some wiring on my project....i now have headlights and front park/ turn signals

I'm either going to run some tall knobs on the T-case shifters or end up lowering the console an inch or three. Really just test fitting a lot of things at this point to see what works and what has to be modified - and how much. I might even end up shortening the ZF shifter because it's so freaking long - 1st, 3rd, and 5th just barely clear the bottom of the dash, while 4th and Reverse almost put the shift knob into the cup holders.

Have you considered the gear banger shifter from wildhorses? I’m running it on my NP435 and it makes a massive difference. It pretty much turns it into a “short throw” shifter if you want to call it that. First gear (which I only use offroad) and reverse are still a bit long, but 2nd - 4th I can shift through without removing my elbow from the center console.

I added to the shifter knob I made. Very minor but made me smile and added 50 cents to the value! Ha

drive gear. I know it should just slide out, I think someone else has done something really wrong!

1st one went to start it dead battery, put it on the trickle charger and decided to go start the other one. I already had it on a trickle charger. It fire up and I took it for a back 40 spin. I need to get busy with my axle upgrades on the 1st one.

Installing new hydro boost from toms. Reinstalling the rebuilt rear differential, disc brakes conversion ,proportioning valve and new Bilstein shocks

I will test drive and then next is installing a new painless wire harness since this old one is a mess. While I have the harness off though I plan on doing the body work and cleaning up the engine bay.

I realized that toms had forgot to send me the hydro boost threaded linkage to the brake pedal and called them. They promptly sent it and it was a breeze to install. But then I also realized my high pressure side line didn't quite reach the power steering box. I 'm not sure if it was just mounted unusually far away from the hydro boost location or if this is a common issue. So I ordered a line 4" longer off amazon and had to get an adapter from 1/2"20 to -6AN for another 100$.

Washed it, waxed it. After lunch I will wax it again. Then I’ll have a beer. Yep…… my day is pretty well planned.
