Just a small project completed tonight. one of the things that has been bugging me since I put my bronco together is the center console. I bought one of these locking center consoles. and it has been nice to have for storing stuff when I park with just the bikini top on it, but there were a few things I didn't like about it. it sat too far back to be comfortable, so I put a couple pieces of square tubing under it so I could move it forward toward the transmission tunnel a bit more and that helped a lot. it made it a more comfortable height for driving also. I also never liked the cup holders, and I just didn't really like how it looked. all very minor issues for sure. also my steering wheel, with the way I laid out my dash, this steering wheel was the best I could find for seeing my gauges, but it didn't match anything else in my bronco. I solved all my minor gripes today by installing this new custom sepelle mahogany center console. it matches my steering wheel, and with the black top it ties the interior together better, and I think it looks and feels like it is supposed to be there. it sits further forward so it is comfortable for driving, and the cupholders work better for me. all in all I think its a nice improvement.
