question? I have my "new" dash harness pretty much sorted out except for two plugs.....a blue bullet and a very heavy black bullet connector.....thoughts?
Did you get this squared away?
The second picture bullet, with the fuel gauge label next to it, looks like it goes into the engine compartment for the carburetor anti-dieseling solenoid.
Right shape, right color, and right location for that.

Nice.
Looks like the later replacement with the longer toggle lever. What year is your Bronco?
Up to about 72 or 73, they came with the short lever from the factory. Sometime later, they had the longer lever like you’re showing.
If you went to Ford and bought a new replacement in 79 or so, like I did, they only had the longer one like yours.
Don’t know if they changed the revision letter or not. What does yours say on the box?

Also, if you still have your old one, I’ve heard they’re pretty easy to take apart and clean up on the inside if they’re not completely broken up.
That way you’ll also have an “NOS“ spare!

I added cruise control. yeah I am old and lazy lol. its a stand alone gps speed control unit from dakota digital because I have a speedhut gps speedometer. I don't know if speedhut gps speedometers have a way to generate the input the cruise control needed so I decided to just bypass it.

With all due respect, I'm not sure that someone's grand pappy is going to be very much rattled when he hears 'Fluffybunny' is out to get him!
Apparently, you've never seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The story behind the screen name is many many years ago, a forum moderator (not this one) told me that I would be banned if I did not change my user name because he felt that it wasn't "family friendly", so I made him happy. What family doesn't love a fluffy bunny.

Today I drove mine... again. :) Daily driver but only averaging over 100 miles/week this year since winter. Last 5 yrs it was 160-180miles/week and I only got below 100miles/week when the County is spraying Mag/Chloride all over the roads! :( Drive 'em!

Talked to another Bronco guy I saw tonight in town and he's about to put his away till next spring. So sad... these babes are meant to be driven not stored in a climate controlled room! :( Too fun to drive to be left in the dark for 6+ months/year!

Ha! That's a great story! I had seen the Monty Python clip, but didn't catch the connection. Most excellent tale, and please, I meant no harm, no need for vengence.....
