Anyone know why Advance would say that the J shift cannot be used with the ZF? Apparently this in the literature and WH corroborated or vice versa?!

At any rate I believe this to be wrong unless there is a chunk of the tranny that is in the way and may need trimmed? What am I missing here, the bolt holes are the same the dimensions are the same, what gives? Internally they are different but that would not be a problem for the ZF/

Anyone install a J shift behind the ZF/

Jb fab has a specific J shift twin stick for ZF swap.

So, in full disclosure I have actually installed the J shift behind a ZF and had zero problems. Thanks for the reminder about JB fab.
